Who is responsible
Approved Guides, published from France by its author; the company is being registered as a sole proprietorship and its details will appear on the Legal page as soon as the registration is complete. Contact: approvedguides.contact@proton.me.
What we collect, and why
(1) Your email address, when you ask for the yearly-figures alert: to send you that alert. Legal basis: your consent, withdrawable in one click in every email. (2) Your email, profile and planned filing date, when you apply for a review: to decide whether we can review your case in time and to send you the payment link. Legal basis: the steps you ask us to take before a contract. (3) Your order details when you buy the guide: to deliver it and handle refunds. Legal basis: the contract. (4) The documents you upload for a review: to write your report, and nothing else. Legal basis: the review you asked for. Please black out account numbers and your Social Security number, and never send medical or criminal-record documents.
Who processes it for us
beehiiv (email list, USA); Cloudflare (hosting and cookie-less aggregate analytics, USA); the upload and storage service for review documents, which will be named here before the first review is delivered. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European standard contractual clauses, as applicable. Lemon Squeezy, LLC (USA) sells the guide as merchant of record and processes your payment under its own privacy policy. Stripe will be named here when it processes review payments. We never sell personal data.
How long
Review documents: deleted 30 days after your report is delivered. The report itself and our emails with you: 12 months. Your email address on the list: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, objection and portability: write to approvedguides.contact@proton.me. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Cookies and fonts
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain.
